Experience an exciting virtual evening of poetry and music celebrating the magic of the Forest of Dean, with four excellent Forest poets and the wonderful Bristol-based musician
Here local Forest poets Lizzie Parker, David Pownall, Stewart Carswell and Ben Ray will be performing poems inspired by the Forest of Dean, and award-winning musician Lady Nade will perform a set of her tender, soulful songs. This is an event not to miss!

Lady Nade is an Indie-Folk-Americana Bristolian Singer-Songstress with a tender, powerful, velveteen voice, and
a knack for creating memorable melodies, using authentic and
Lizzie Parker has won and been shortlisted for a number of prizes including the Bridport, Melita Hume, Troubadour International, and Gregory O’Donoghue awards. Her collection 'In Her Shambles' is published with Seren Books.
David Pownall is an award-winning playwright and novelist, with three collections of verse published and many plays about poets and composers produced for theatre and radio. Music and poetry have always played a large part in David's writing.
Stewart Carswell's poems have recently been published in Under the Radar, Envoi, Ink Sweat & Tears, and The Fenland Reed. His debut collection 'Earthworks' is forthcoming with Indigo Dreams Publishing in 2021.
Ben Ray is a poet and reviewer,
a patron of the Cheltenham Poetry Festival and a winner of the 2019 New Poets Prize. His most recent collection is 'The Kindness of the Eel'
(The Poetry Business, 2020).
